Ministries A+ Before and After School Program
Our goal is to send your children home with their homework completed and checked for accuracy. Transportation is provided to Tahoe Lake School, North Tahoe School, and Creekside Cooperative Charter School in the mornings before school. Transportation is provided for the following schools after school: Tahoe Lake School, North Tahoe School, North Tahoe Middle School, and Creekside Cooperative Charter School. *Note: All TTUSD students are required to have a bus pass. A+ Preschool Activities include: learning centers, group time, music, recreation, art, learning activities, Bible stories, snack, and free choice time. Our goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten. Full day and half day sessions are available. Transportation is provided from Tahoe Community Nursery School and Tahoe State Preschool.

Big A Club

Summer School Age A+ During the summer, A+ provides before and after care for the Big A Club. Children 4 years, 9 months through 6th grade are welcome to attend. Parents’ Night Out PNO is a child care program designed to allow parents to have a night out without the kids. Activities include: playground time, songs, Bible story, craft, snack, and a G rated movie. Cost for PNO is $10 per child for the evening with a maximum of $20 per family. YouthYouth meetings are held for middle school and high school students on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Special activities are also held for both youth groups. Sunday SchoolSunday School is held for children during the 9:00 a.m. worship service. Classes are held for children four years old through the 5th grade. 6th graders and above are asked to attend our worship services. Maureen Stelzriede is our Sunday School director. Services begin each season the Sunday before Christmas and continue through Easter. At each location, you will see a cross in the snow. This is where the services are held. Each service begins at 2:00 p.m. and lasts 15-20 minutes. A few of our former Big A Club children have competed at the Olympics. Shannon Barhke won a silver medal in Salt Lake City and came in 10th in the women’s moguls in Torino. She wrote on Debbie’s ticket, “Dreams Do Come True!” Julia Mancuso, sister of another former Big A Club child, won the gold medal in Giant Slalom in Torino.
